The Motorhome Holiday Company Covid-19 Update
Latest Update 12/04/21
We know you probably have a lot of questions about how to go ahead with your holidays during this time, so this blog includes everything you need to know about our covid-19 policies, procedures and how you can book your motorhome hire holiday safely with us. We will be updating this page as necessary so please check back as often as you’d like.
We are open and taking bookings for your self-contained holidays!
We are back and bigger than ever. Our North Somerset site is now open once again and we are excited to be sending off our first customers on their self-contained 2021 holidays.
If you would like to view one of our motorhomes, then you must please arrange an appointment. Once a motorhome has been cleaned, sanitised and received anti-viral preparation, it is then sealed shut ready for its adventure. This means that we cannot allow guests to view them during this time.
If you are visiting us on site we kindly ask you to wear a face mask as required by law, unless, of course, you are exempt for medical reasons. We will also be putting social distancing measures in place to keep you and our staff as safe as possible.
On our website you can view video tours, pictures and get technical information on each of our motorhomes, just click any model on our listing page. You can search our motorhomes by berth or by price.
Over the last year we have been busy implementing many new procedures to makes viewing and booking online as easy as possible for all our customers. This includes a new calendar view, which allows you to check and reserve your dates in real time.
If you do wish to visit please call first and come prepared – we are asking everyone to wear a mask and gloves when inside a motorhome. Thank you for working with us.

The โWeโre Good To Goโ industry standard
In 2020 we received the We’re Good To Go mark. This is a self-assessment scheme that has been designed by VisitEngland in partnership with the national tourist organisations Tourism Northern Ireland, VisitScotland and Visit Wales to provide a โring of confidenceโ for all sectors of the tourism industry, as well as reassurance to visitors that businesses have clear processes in place and are following industry and Government COVID-19 guidance on cleanliness and social distancing.

Our motorhome cleaning procedure

Additionally, motorhomes will be โfoggedโ with a dry antiviral mist every few weeks. We have chosen a chemical that is safe for animals, so our pet-friendly motorhomes will remain so.

Motorhome handover videos
Our team have been putting together brand new Motorhome User Guides, which will replace our usual handovers.
These include video tutorials of how to use the motorhome and a written PDF guide, all of which you can access before your hire and when you are away. This is to minimise any face to face contact and allow us to maintain social distancing guidelines.

Looking towards the 17th of May 2021
The next announcement on the roadmap out of lockdown is due to take place on Monday the 17th of May. We will continue to listen and adhere to government guidance on this.
Currently, it is thought that the UK is on track with the roadmap. If this continues, the 17th of May could see gatherings of up to 30 people allowed outside and the rule of 6 or 2 households will continue for indoor gatherings. Hospitality venues hope to welcome customers indoors, along with entertainment venues, like cinemas and childrenโs play areas, and the rest of the accommodation sector, including hotels, hostels and B&Bs.
Travelling Abroad
Currently, we are not permitting European travel in any of our motorhomes for new bookings. Unfortunately the uncertainty around travelling abroad puts us in this difficult position and we have to ensure the safe and timely return of all our customers and vehicles.
If government guidance changes we will be looking to review this policy.
We will continue to update this page as new guidance comes out or if any of our procedures change.
