As part of our continued commitment to our mantra, creating great customer experiences, every time, we have implemented an easy and ultra secure online ID checking process.
What is an ID check?
In order to drive one of our motorhomes, we require drivers to complete an ID check for insurance purposes. This involves obtaining various forms of ID and information for our driving customers.
Previously, this ID and information has been emailed, posted or dropped into our office. We have always been careful and cautious about keeping customer information on file, and we started to think that this system is outdated and could be improved upon.
As members of the ICO, we always endeavour to keep to GDPR regulations and ensure the safety of our customer’s data.
The new ID checking system
Our new system is supplied in partnership with AMIQUS who are specialists in digital ID checking. Customers can now click a secure link, follow simple instructions on the screen and upload a photo driving licence and other ID needed.
No need to email, post or drop in.

It enables businesses to remotely verify customer ID as part of the global fight against money laundering, identity fraud, and terrorism financing, regulation is on the rise. Guided by our values of trust, privacy, and accessibility, our award-winning team has built and continually update Amiqus to meet the latest standards.”

When you book with us we will send you a link to log in and upload your ID. This will be done a few weeks prior to your trip. Introducing this new system is also part of our Covid-19 safe practice.
