We are delighted to welcome our newest member of the Motorhome Holiday Company team; Nicola Lambourne.
Nicola comes to us as a friend of the family after feeling it was time for a change and a new challenge – plus she couldn’t resist a job offer from Matt! Nicola has years of experience of working with families, and children in particular, through various childcare roles.
Her passion for people is very obvious when you meet her. She’s a great, fun woman and loves tidiness, attention to detail, and getting it right the first time. A perfect fit for us we thought.
Coming along with her is Ellick, her doggy companion, who you may see in the office from time to time. Nicola’s role is ‘Customer Experience Goddess’ and is responsible for bookings, phone calls, emails, and getting your adventures going.
We asked Nicola a few things about herself and this is what she said…

When did you join the team?
June 2020 – slightly later than planned due to Covid-19!
What attracted you to work at Motorhome Holiday Company?
A really friendly team and a chance to have fun at work. Plus, Matt offered me a great deal!
What’s your favourite holiday destination?
Mauritius
Where would you go in a motorhome?
Porlock in Devon or the New Forest
Your favourite way to spend an evening?
Watching soaps with my dog Ellick, a bar of chocolate and a can of full fat diet coke!
What’s the scariest thing you have ever done?
Landing in a tiny plan in Mustique
Have you ever broken a bone?
No, but I’ve chipped my coccyx falling off a horse
You’re headed to the cinema… romcom or horror?
Definitely romcom
Favourite food at home?
Roast chicken dinner
Favourite food out?
Depends on my mood… not fish! I love to pick so maybe tapas
When you have a day off, what do you do?
I’ll ride my pony, walk Ellick, do some gardening and sit back with a good book
Your favourite motorhome layout?
I love our rear lounge model 5 berth – two lounges are great for families. An island bed model feel luxurious and ideal for a couple. Space for time apart!
