Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2018
We’re delighted to announce some exciting news: The Motorhome Holiday Company is proud to once again be an official supporter of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2018 from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th August.
The four days of family fun, food, freebies and, of course, hot air balloons has become one of the most eagerly anticipated events in our hectic diary.
The Motorhome Holiday Company first sponsored the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta in 2016 and we have enjoyed being an integral supporter providing motorhomes to the event organisers on site for convenient accommodation and rest bite from their busy schedules. As before, we’ll be displaying a variety of two, four and six berth motorhomes that are available for hire and on our Try Before You Buy scheme. We will also have motorhomes to view from our MotorhomeShare™ fleet too.

Europes Biggest & FREE Ballooning Event
It’s the largest annual hot air ballooning event in Europe and attracts over 150 balloon teams from across the globe every year. Regarded as one of the greatest events in the UK, it remains completely free of charge to attend and there is always plenty of parking.
This year is a special year as the event is celebrating its 40th anniversary. It will see a return of some very special shaped balloons – many being taken out of ‘retirement’ for this special event. These will include Rupert bear, a favourite from our childhoods, two Bertie Bassett balloons, Michelin man, Peanut, the Queens Guard and many many more.
It’s not just about hot air balloons. In addition to the twice-daily launches (weather permitting), in the central arena you’ll find lots of shows, entertaining features and skydivers landing. There are more food stalls than you could possibly hope to sample even if you spent all four days trying.
We’ve been reliably informed that there is plenty for everyone including rides for the children, there are music performances on the main stage, crafts, cars and trucks plus, the house and gardens make for a peaceful interlude.
Bristol Motorhome & Caravan show
PLUS this year sees the launch of the ‘Bristol Motorhome and Caravan Show’ within the grounds of Ashton Court too with stands and exhibits of everything for your motorhome, camping or caravanning adventure.
